Reinforcement worksheets

You can use these worksheets when needed to consolidate what your students have learned in class. They match the pace of the Student's Book and they are ideal for use with mixed-ability classes. Children can be grouped with others of a similar ability to work on worksheets which suit their level.

Extension worksheets

You can use these worksheets as further practice of what your students have learned in class. They enable more able students to expand on what they have learned and they are ideal for use with mixed-ability classes. Children can be grouped with others of a similar ability to work on worksheets which suit their level.

Explore more! Culture worksheets

You can use these worksheets to explore culture specific to your country in relation to the unit topics.

Wordcards

You can use the wordcards to support letter and word recognition and reading and writing activities. There are wordcards for the core unit vocabulary and the cross-curricular topics. The Ideas bank in your Teacher's Book contains additional ideas for how to use these wordcards.

Answer keys

Teaching notes and answer keys are provided for the Reinforcement, Extension, Cross-curricular, Story, Support and Catch-up and Culture worksheets. Teaching notes and answer keys for the DVD worksheets can be found in your Teacher's Book.

Cross-curricular worksheets

You can use these worksheets to extend your students' understanding of the cross-curricular topics. The focus is on understanding the topic and there is one worksheet per unit.

DVD worksheets

You can use these optional worksheets to support and extend your students' understanding of the Let's Explore! Britain culture videos. They contain observation and language activities based on the videos.

Story worksheets

You can use these worksheets to accompany the revision story episodes. For the lower levels, there are crafts which can be used during the story telling, and for the higher levels, there are language activities based on the story.

Festival worksheets

You can use these fun worksheets to accompany some of the festival lessons.

Support and Catch-up worksheets

You can use the Support worksheets with older students who need extra practice of the vocabulary to consolidate what they have learned. You can use the Catch-up worksheets to review some basic vocabulary and structures with older students who have missed earlier lessons, or with those who need to revise previously taught language.
