As a global course of English for the 21st century, the Bright Ideas series provides students with many opportunities to become effective listeners, speakers, readers and writers, with the aim of developing strong communication skills. An impact study was conducted to understand to what extent and how does Bright Ideas help to develop primary students' communication skills.

Found to improve students’ communication skills

  • All teachers agreed that Bright Ideas helps to develop students’ communication skills, with 55% describing the impact as significant.
  • More than 80% of teachers agreed that Bright Ideas helps to develop the core communication skills of listening, speaking, reading and writing to a moderate or significant extent.
