Dr. Erika Galea, founder and director of the Educational Neuroscience Hub Europe (Malta), aims to raise awareness and improve understanding of brain development in teaching and learning, both in the school and workplace environments. After over two decades in education, initially working as a teacher, followed by a period as deputy head and now as visiting lecturer at the University of Malta, Dr. Galea has held various roles as an educator, trainer, and consultant, collaborating with a broad range of stakeholders in the education sector, particularly the Ministry for Education in Malta. Dr. Galea, who holds a Ph.D. in Psychology and Human Development from University College London and serves as an honorary research fellow there, brings her expertise as an education consultant specialising in quality assurance, particularly within the psychoeducational field. She also delivers tailored workshops and provides mentoring in educational neuroscience to a range of local and international educational institutions and corporate organisations.
