Rachel Bladon has worked as an EFL teacher, editor and writer for more than twenty years, in Europe and in Asia. She is the author of thirty-four graded readers for all age-groups, including non-fiction and retellings of modern and classic works. She won a Language Learner Literature Award for one of her stories, and two others have been finalists for the Awards. Rachel took over as Series Editor of the Oxford Bookworms Library in 2014 after the retirement of Jennifer Bassett. She has written five titles for the series, including adaptations of A Midsummer Night’s Dream and Eat, Pray, Love and the Factfile Japan. She is proud to oversee this wonderful library of books with its hallmark of fine storytelling and rigorous grading, and is enjoying adding exciting new titles to the list.
