Making changes to your operating system

A description of every image is provided, either in the alt tag or on the page itself.

Links

We try to ensure that link text makes sense out of context and that it accurately describes the pages it points to. You can use the tab key on your keyboard (as well as your mouse) to move from consecutive link to link.

PDF files

Some of the information on our website is in Portable Document Format (PDF). You will need Adobe Acrobat Reader to read PDF files. Adobe Acrobat Reader can be downloaded free of charge from the Adobe website. Later versions of this software provide a number of features that improve access for users.

Country and language selection

A visual representation of where the menus appear and how they look on the website We want to provide content most relevant to you. We do this by detecting the country you are in when you visit the website. You can change the country automatically selected for you by selecting an alternative. For some countries, we provide the local language but this can be changed to English if preferred. Users of screen readers such as JAWS can use the ‘alt + down arrow’ key command to interact with the country and language options.
